Noooo!!! I totally forgot to post on the 22nd for Nablopomo! I was doing so well and now, gone. That being said I’ll probably complete the rest of the month and I’m tempted to say that it’s still Saturday because I haven’t gone to bed.

So this won’t be at all exciting and for that I’m sorry.
I just got back from the city and while I wouldn’t say that it was at all fun, it was at least productive. I had a therapist appt on the upper east side which was kind of intense and then picked up a perscription.

This is what I was up to this afternoon before Japanese. I spun up the 2 oz of the 50/50 merino silk blend from Chasing Rainbows Dyeworks that I bought at Rheinbeck. Sadly this picture doesn’t show it of that well, but the blues in this skein are amazing. They are so dark and rich. [...]

Well I really wanted to use the merino/tencel yarn that I spun from an Allspunup braid and while I had started this a [...]

They’re done!! Finally! After way too much school work and knitting three hats, my orange socks are finally done! As you can see they’re just plane stockinette stitch but they’re done and the colors are bright and fun. Having said that, I don’t want to knit socks with yarn this fine for a long time.

Earlier this year I did The Omnivore’s Hundred list and did fairly well – I had eaten over half of the things on the list and most of the things I hadn’t eaten I had never had a chance to try (and then there were a few things I never wanted to try). I found [...]
