Tricot Machine
A few days ago a thread showed up on Ravelry called “Knitting music video” (or something like that). And I figured, ‘eh, it’s on one of the main boards, do I really want to click this? no.’ and let it lay unread. Then I was looking through google reader this morning and saw that TechKnitting had linked to “an extraordinary video from a group called ‘Tricot Machine’”. I figured, ‘well the person over at TechKnitting likes it, I may as well watch it.’ I must say, it’s pretty amazing.
The band’s name is Tricot Machine (French for Knitting Machine) and they are out of Montreal, Canada. From what I understand the knitting that makes up the video is machine knitted. Even with it machine knit, I can’t imagine the time and dedication that went into making that. It really is a work of art.
